Graduate Programmes
A Graduate Programme is essentially a Leadership Development programme, aimed at recent graduates, to enable them to access, explore and understand various aspects of an organisation. Objectives for both the business and graduate include:
Organisational objectives - recruit and retain top talent, make graduates marketable to the business as quickly as possible, close the gap between graduates’ expectations and the realities they experience, identify future leaders, upskill graduates to lead themselves and others while coping with global complexity and demands, and enable graduates to self manage effectively.
Graduate objectives - gain experience and exposure to the business and business leaders, understand how the business works and how to lead in a changing environment, enjoy world class training, learn new skills while working and apply them to a live project, receive tailored support and mentorship, and develop potential by being exposed to key business areas.
While designing a Graduate Programme we consider the following key areas:
-
Strategy
-
Environment
-
Competencies
-
Application
In order to meet the above deliverables, we work in close consultation with the client to craft a uniquely customised solution and provide consulting assistance based on a holistic implementation process. We aim to maximise the return on our client’s investment through sound research and preparation, an integrated project methodology, closely monitored delivery and post-implementation measurement and follow-up.
Connemara recognises that there are three distinct phases to Graduate Placement - sourcing, development and retention. We believe that each graduate’s potential can only be fully leveraged when all three phases are aligned in an end-to-end solution.
Ultimately, a well-structured and focused Graduate Programme will develop productive and functional employees who provide long-term value to the organisation.
